Inside Scoop – Site Visit

I’m currently working on a project for a client in Westville, Durban. This project requires me to be involved from the early planning stages with the architect and the building contractors, even though my main role is the conceptualising and implementation of designs for the interior. One of the things I love about my job is doing site visits – have a look to see what it is like.

Pretty Packaging

I was in Woolworths today and was so taken in by these gorgeous soaps! Not so much the fact that they are soaps, but their stunning packaging. And I am a sucker for products with lovely packaging, sometimes even despite the laughable prices.

Now, I’m not sure if it is a woman thing, or perhaps just a Che’ thing, but I am drawn to things that appeal to my senses.. Smell, touch, taste, sound and sight! I will go so far as to buy something depending on how it makes me feel, like these soaps for example. Not are they tantilisingly delicious in smell, but the packaging would be the cherry on the top and close the deal for me!

So for all you shoppers out there that are like me that will buy products for their packaging, I feel the pain of your credit card!

Woolworths stocks an Italian brand of soaps called Nesti Dante, have a look at their website here.

Some light please

I’m conceptualising for a client at the moment and am in the process of researching gorgeous pendant lights. I thought I would share a few of the items I have found with you.
I would love to hear what you think.
