Thanks to the lovely and super talented Kathy Esterhuysen of B.O.W. Designs, Portfolio has had a revamp and now has a completely new look!
Kath started working on it a while ago and there have been a few changes along the way (I really think I am one of her worst customers, when it comes to deciding on my own design related things, it is never easy.. haha, sorry Kath) but alas, she has, once again, done an amazingly awesome job and I am totally smitten.
This is so exciting! As many of you know, I have been posting as guest author for the lovely blog, Creative Stream, and now it is with much joy that we share with you an new addition to Creative stream – REVAMP IT!!This is how it works… Many people have a room or an area that they feel are just frustratingly unorganised, or perhaps are at their wits end as to what to do and how to do it. Sometimes an outsiders view on such a space is beneficial and this is where we’d like to help.
So, here goes.. if you could send in a picture (or few) of a particular space that you would like help with, along with your colour preferences, your decor style, your likes and dislikes about the area and any other info that you feel will help me in helping you. I will also need measurements of the furniture and room space in order to give you a more accurate concept.
One lucky person will be selected each month where I will provide a few suggestions to the layout, colour optimisation, styling and/or decor accessories. I will help as best as I possibly can, but just remember the brief I receive from you will decipher the design and style of your “problem area”, so be true and honest.
Every month is a new chapter, so you can submit your room monthly to stand a better chance of getting selected. In order to qualify, there is just one very small condition, you need to become a follower of both Portfolio and Creative Stream. All submissions to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This past weekend we met up with some dear friends, they got married last year and are now pregnant. My glowing and vibrant friend looked so healthy and happy that she inspired me to do a post on nurseries. I like to think that hubby and I are still a while from having a little one, but nevertheless I really can’t help adoring some of these nurseries. Hope these inspire those lovely mommies to be.
