ROBERT DOMIJAN LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS

I did a post a while back on some of Robert Domijan’s work – see here. I really love his landscapes – the colours, the brushstrokes, the compostions… all are so typically South African. These are some new pieces he has done, all of which are over a meter in length and done in oils.

Should you want to find out more, take a look at the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery website here.

GARAGE STORAGE SOLUTIONS

I am sure there are many of you, like myself, who have a rather unorganised and cluttered garage. And is way overdue a makeover! I did a little research to see what others have done and came across a lovely website that has all the storage solutions for those living in South Africa, Garage Tek.

I look forward to the day when our garage can look like as neat and tidy as these garages!

Have a lovely week all!

We are off to the Grahamstown Arts Festival on Thursday. I’ll be tweeting a few pics and goings on, so be sure to follow me on twitter, PortfolioIsChe

STYLISH GUEST BATHROOMS

I have been doing some research for ideas on guest bathrooms and how to create an amazing space. These are some ideas that I fell in love with, all of them so different in style yet all have personality.
I truly believe that a guest bathroom should be a welcoming space for friends and family and that this is probably one room that you can be a little bold and adventurous.

I hope you all have a fantastic week!

ABODA CERAMICS AND FLATWARE

One of the things I love about being in the interior design field is sourcing some of the amazing products and decor accessories available. Aboda is the brain child of Pamela Schroeder, a Johannesburg based designer. She has a background in Fine Art, Sculpture, Art History and Graphic Design. The range of products are handmade and are inspired by the different varieties of both indigenous and invader flora of Southern Africa. I find her pieces quite remarkable and definitely a key accessory when entertaining.

Stay tuned for the next few pics of Florence, Italy!
